House of Montrose Limited who trade as the New Zealand Curriculum Design Institute – Te Wānanga Hoahoa Matauranga Aotearoa (HoM - NZCDI-TWHMA) will: through its contracts, Academic Board of Studies and/or the Research and Ethics Committee, ensure the Institutes Intellectual Property ownership rights are fairly and legally identified and notified in writing nationally and internationally, prior to the commencement of any activity via: Contracts, Memorandum of Understandings, Specific Terms of Agreement, © and year plus copyright warning statement and document coding, approved Research Proposals, approved Ethical Proposals. The purpose of this policy is to ensure that work, programme and research related Intellectual property owned by HoM - NZCDI-TWHMA and other parties with whom they work is accurately identified, notified and documented.

HoM - NZCDI-TWHMA may record information for the following purposes and to evaluate compliance with the Institute QMS.

HoM - NZCDI-TWHMA will not supply personal information to third parties without the consent of the user unless the use is within the scope of the purposes for which the information was collected. Institute staff may share information where required for their administrative and student management functions.

The Institute works with third parties for marketing and advertising. Website visitor information may be provided to third parties that the Institute works with for marketing and advertising purposes. This information will not include personally identifiable data such as names or addresses but it may include such things as IP and /or MAC addresses, domain names, the pages you accessed, and the date and time you visited our website.

Other than stated above, we do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. The Institute has taken steps to ensure that each partner or third party involved treats the Personal Data in accordance with the privacy laws and legislation of our Users’ jurisdictions.

Access to and correction of personal information

The user has the right to view all personal information held by the Institute about them. The user may request correction of information by contacting the Client Services Manager (admin@nzcdi.ac.nz).
